My Adventure at THE BIG BOYS TOY EXPO
Saturday June 1st, my support worker Layton and I attended the Big Boys Toys Expo held at the Callaghan Park in Rockhampton.
Thousands packed the arena which contained hundreds of stalls that catered for every man’s interest. From fishing, boating and camping to backyard activities such as barbecuing, mowing, and motorbike riding for the blokes who have a really big backyard.
Big Rig Crawling
Front Wheel Bounce
I caught up with my Uncle Albie who is a car enthusiast, he was in his element looking at large range of cars from both the 20th and 21st centuries.
The range included early models of Ford Falcons, Holdens, Mini, a Goggo aveal, Hotrods and present day vehicles. The appreciative crowd was entertained by experts in 4WD obstacle course, motorbike demonstrations, live singers and a man who demonstrated fishing rod lures by fishing in a massive fish tank with Barramundi.
Some people paid $10 for a ride in a monster truck. the fabulous day ended when I consumed a delicious chocolate sundae from the ice cream van.
