National Apex Convention at Bundaberg

Between October 8th 13th Mum and I holidayed at Bargara near Bundaberg. We attended the National Apex Convention. Unfortunately, a small gathering of Apexians were allowed to attend because an outbreak of COVID in southern states which very disappointing for the host, Apex Club of Bundaberg, especially because its 90 years since Apex Australia was born in Geelong March 10th 1931.
Apex Australia is extremely proud of its 90 years history of supporting Australians in their hour of need by fundraising for playgrounds and sporting equipment for our Aussie kids. One of Apex’s major achievements was establishing The Royal Flying Doctor, an extremely vital service for people living in the Outback.

Since 1982 The Apex of Gympie has made “The Gympie Music Muster, one of the successful music festivals in Australia. In 2012, the late and great, Kenny Rogers headlined the festival. Every Australian music superstar has performed at the Muster. Including John Farnham, Lee Kernaghan, Jimmy Barns, Kasey Chambers, Troy Cassier-Daley, The McClimonts, Daryl Breathwaite and Grandfather of Australian Country Music, Slim Dusty and hundreds more.

Apex will boost your confident by completing in debates, public speaking, being a board member and serving the public. The most enjoyable part of Apex is the social events which includ, Christmas parties weekends away, fishing & camping trips, inner-club travel – visiting Apex Club in your region, state and interstate for meetings and conventions, and pub crawls.
August 14th the newest Apex Club was chartered. The Apex Of Capricorn West has been a dream of the founding President, Cassie Newly for 2 years. With love and support from her family and friends, plus the members from other Apex Clubs including Bundaberg, Cassie has realised her dream.
