Rocky Swap

August 3rd, Central Queensland’s largest annual garage sale: The Rocky Swap was held at the Rockhampton Showgrounds.

One of Australia’s iconic trash and treasure meets was celebrating its 20 year anniversary. My support worker Nolan and I explored hundreds of stalls which had many bargain hunters desires from old cars, including one on a trailer, car parts, tools and knickknacks.  the event was organized by the Rotary Club of Rockhampton North and all funds raised, go back into the local community. Last year Rotary purchased a 12 seater bus for the Special School.

Anyone can meet up with old friends including me.  I was at the bar, enjoying a Bundy and Coke when my old mate, Stuart walked in, I wasn’t sure who was more surprised, me or Stuart.  Stuart was in Bundaberg Apex, what a great day.
